Rare Armor (Studded Leather), Requires Attunement
Swallowed by Earth. As an action, you can cause any corpse or a small or tiny non-magical item within 30 feet of you, that you can see and is touching the ground, to be swallowed by the earth and disappear deep beneath the ground without any trace. As long as a corpse targeted by this ability remains buried, you can use your action to summon any item that you know of that was buried by itself or with one of the corpses and make that item emerge from the ground within 5 feet of you if possible.
- As long as you remain attuned to this item, you are aware if any corpse you buried with this ability is unearthed, raised or dug up.
- After you lose attunement, you become unable to summon items or be aware of corpses you buried before losing the attunement, even if you attune to the item again.
- You can also use this ability against Undead, forcing them to make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw, becoming restrained until the start of your next turn on a failure.
Natural Decomposers. Once per long rest, when you use the Swallowed by Earth feature on a corpse of a medium or larger creature, two Swarms of Insects emerge from the ground as it is being buried and gnaw it to the bone. You can telepathically control these Swarms of Insects for 10 minutes, after which they scurry back underground.
- The Swarms of Insects share your initiative and play immediately after the end of your turn.
Keeper of the Natural Order. While wearing this armor, you cannot be possessed by Undead and attacks made by undead cannot reduce your maximum Hit Points or make you unable to regain Hit Points.
