Rare Armor (Shield), Requires Attunement

Insatiable Hunger (Recharge 5-6). The endless toothy maw festering over the shield telekinetically pulls creatures that find themselves too close to it and tries to consume them whole
As an action to a creature within 15 feet of you, or as a reaction when a creature within 5 feet of you misses you with an attack, you can use your reaction to force them to make a DC 14 Strength saving throw. On a failed saving throw the creature is moved to a point of your choice within 5 feet of you and takes 1d6 piercing plus 1d6 necrotic damage. 

• If used on a dead body, or if a creature is brought to 0 Hit Points by this feature, they are fully consumed by the maw and their body disappears. When this happens, you take 1d6 psychic damage, but the feature automatically recharges. 
  • The Maw cannot consume creatures of size huge or larger. 

The Stare of the Abyss. Once per long rest, you can use your action to summon an unblinking abnormal eye within the blackness of the shield’s maw.
Each creature in a 30-foot cone must make a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw, taking 2d10 psychic damage and being frightened of you until the end of their next turn on a failure, or half as much damage and not being frightened on a success. While the creatures frightened by this feature end their turn within 30 feet of you, they are immediately affected as if they had failed a saving throw on the Insatiable Hunger feature.
